Faster and Simpler Than Waiting on Breakdown Service

Your carrier's breakdown line may take hours to find someone, and many heavy duty road service companies charge a service call fee plus labor. If all you need is a start, a local $100 jump is usually the fastest, simplest way to get rolling. We only do jump starts, so there is no repair job ahead of yours. Keep the receipt for your company.

Heavy Duty Pricing

Semis, box trucks, buses and RVs are a flat $100 anywhere we serve, truck stops included. Hollywood, Hallandale Beach, Dania Beach, Pembroke Park, West Park, Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale, Davie (including the Florida 595 Truck Stop), Miramar, Pembroke Pines, Plantation, Pompano Beach and the Seminole Travel Center on US-27 are all the same $100. Where We Reach You

Why Tractor Batteries Go Dead

  • Overnight hotel loads: Fridge, inverter, TV, CPAP, fans and lights running all night off the batteries during your 10-hour break.
  • One bad battery in the bank: A single failing battery drags the whole bank down, and the truck reads dead even when the others are fine.
  • APU trouble: When the APU is not charging the bank the way it should, you do not find out until morning.
  • Florida heat: Heat, not cold, is what destroys truck batteries down here.
  • Long waits at docks: Hours of detention with the key on and accessories running.

Not sure it is the batteries? Here is what each no-start sound means.

12V or 24V, Checked Before We Clamp

Almost every US-market tractor runs a 12V system with batteries wired in parallel, including Freightliner, Peterbilt, Kenworth, International, Volvo, Mack and Western Star. We also handle 24V trucks and imports. Give us the make, model and year when you call, and we test the voltage with a meter before connecting anything.

Before We Arrive

  • • Open the battery box or show us your jump studs
  • • Turn off the fridge, inverter, lights and APU
  • • Have your location ready: truck stop name, dock number or mile marker

FAQs

Q: How much to jump an 18-wheeler?

A: A flat $100 anywhere we serve, truck stops like Pompano Beach and US-27 included. Same price day or night, weekends and holidays. No service call fee. Cash or Zelle.

Q: My whole bank is completely dead. Can you still start it?

A: Usually, yes. Our commercial equipment is made for fully discharged truck banks. If a battery in the bank is shorted, we will tell you so you can get it replaced instead of paying for another jump.

Q: Can I pay with a company card or comchek?

A: We take cash or Zelle only. Many drivers Zelle from their own account and send the emailed receipt to their carrier.

Q: Do you jump the reefer unit too?

A: If the battery is accessible and the compartment is open, usually yes. Describe the setup when you call.

Q: What if the truck still will not start?

A: Then it is not the batteries. It could be the starter, fuel, air or a charging problem. We will tell you what we see so your next call is to the right shop.
