How Much Does a Jump Start Cost in Broward County?

Short answer: ours is $70 flat for any car, SUV, van or pickup (gas or diesel), anywhere in our service area, any time of day. No call-out fee, no after-hours surcharge, no mileage. Semis, box trucks, buses and RVs are a flat $100, 12V or 24V, anywhere we serve. Here is how that compares to your other options.

Your options when the battery is dead

Tow truck roadside service. Usually the most expensive route. Many operators charge a call-out fee plus the service, and rates often climb at night and on weekends. You are also paying for a heavy truck to drive out for a five minute job.

AAA or a similar membership. Free at the moment you use it, but you paid an annual fee up front and you are in a queue behind everyone else. Wait times during storms or holidays can be long.

Your insurance or credit card roadside benefit. Often cheap or included, but it usually dispatches to a third party contractor, so you get whoever is available and whenever they show up.

Dealership or repair shop. They generally will not come to you for a jump at all.

Us. $70 flat, about 15 minutes on average, and we only do jump starts, which is why we are fast at them.

Why we do not charge more at 3am

Plenty of roadside operators price by time of day because they can. We do not. A dead battery at two in the morning in a parking garage is exactly when you least want to be negotiating, so the price is the price.

Heavy duty pricing

Semi trucks, 18-wheelers, box trucks, dump trucks, buses and RVs are a flat $100 anywhere we serve, 12V or 24V, truck stops included, from Hollywood and Port Everglades to Fort Lauderdale, Davie, Miramar, Pembroke Pines, Plantation, Pompano Beach and US-27. Same no-surcharge rules and no service call fee. Many heavy duty road service companies charge a call-out fee plus labor for the same jump. When we will tell you not to pay us

If the engine cranks normally but will not fire, the battery is not your problem and a jump will not help. We would rather say that on the phone than take your money and leave you exactly where you started.
